Course Overview 
This qualification is suitable for those who use well developed marketing and communication skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts.
Individuals in these roles apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others, however they typically report to more senior practitioners.

Course Duration
This qualification will be delivered over 52 weeks, including 36 weeks of training and assessment spread over 6 terms of 6 weeks and 16 weeks of holiday, which are in 4 week blocks during the course.

This course will be delivered face-to-face in a classroom-based setting which includes the simulation of workplace based environment.

Course costs
The costs for this course are as follows:

Enrolment fee: $300 (non-refundable to be paid on application)

Course fees: Total cost is AUD$10,000

Additionally a detailed payment plan and payment arrangements are provided in the letter of offer and written agreement which is provided to the student for their review and agreement prior to acceptance into the course. The agreement also includes details of additional fees and charges, which may be applicable

Entry Requirements

Trinity Institute (Australia) has the following entry requirements:

International students must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Meet the following education requirements:
    • Year 12 or equivalent; or
    • a Certificate III qualification or above.

A student may be accepted for entry into this qualification if they do not meet the education requirements listed. These students will need to participate in a course entry interview with Trinity Institute (Australia) to assess their suitability.

  • Have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
  • Educated for 5 years in an English speaking country; or
  • Completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO; or
  • Successful completion of an English Placement Test.

Training Arrangements
Training consists of 20 hours of classroom training per week and students will be required to complete approximately 2 hours of homework a week, which include research and reading.

Class sessions are planned to ensure that students have a mixture of practical and theoretical components and those classes cater for a wide variety of learning styles.  Additionally workplace practices and environments will be simulated and used to conduct skills based assessments in accordance with unit requirements.

Course progress
Note that for international students satisfactory course progress is required in order to meet visa requirements. More information can be found in the International Student Handbook that also includes information on the specific support that is available to international students. Students who are identified as being at risk of not meeting course progress requirements will be provided with additional support as recorded in an intervention plan.

Orientation
Students are provided with an orientation into the course and the Australian way of life. Orientation will include information about Trinity Institute (Australia) and living in Australia, accessing support services and outlines the important visa conditions for international students.

Assessment Arrangements
Assessment methods used for this qualification will provide a range of ways for individuals to demonstrate that they have met the required outcomes including:

  • Projects
  • Presentations
  • Report writing
  • Role plays
  • Questioning (oral or written)

At the beginning of each unit, your trainer/assessor will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed.

Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in our International Student Handbook, which is available at www.trinityinstitute.edu.au under ‘Student Information’ tab.

For international students, the granting of course credit may affect your course fees as well as the duration of your course.

The result of your application for credit and any changes to fees or course duration will be advised to you in writing.

If course credit is granted following issuance of your Confirmation of Enrolment, you will receive a new Confirmation of Enrolment showing a reduced duration.
